Under the current circumstances and the critical situation that has been created by COVID-19 in the United States, we are being confronted on a daily basis with the consequences on society at large and our business in particular. We need to be prepared to comply with restrictions and various safety measures announced by United States Government, to help prevent the spreading of the virus.
Please note that until further notice we will make extensive use of remote working capabilities for all associates that have the capability to do so, as well as discontinuing onsite meetings/visits. Despite the available technology and communication tools, we understand that this might have an impact on the performance of certain tasks during the beginning of this process. As of March 14th, 2020 many airlines announced the suspension of their passenger flights due to the travel ban instituted by our president. This has depleted the airfreight capacity by a drastic nearly 70-80%, and will continue to due so in the coming weeks.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this exceptional situation. We have an elaborate Business Continuity Plan in place to ensure that we can continue to serve you, should this crisis escalate further.
